Imagine living in a homeless shelter with your mom and grandmother after a contentious divorce that left your family destitute and struggling to get by. What would you do to get out of that situation/
For Molly Little, the answer was almost anything. The OnlyFans star was only 18 years old when she did move into a homeless shelter with her mother and grandmother, and she spent an entire year there.
“My family was just going through some financial issues. There was divorce,” the now 22-year-old explained in a recent interview.
But she didn’t immediately join OnlyFans. While she was living at the shelter, she worked as a server at the Halal Guys restaurant. She took the money she made from that job and began taking pole-dancing lessons.
“I really enjoyed the performance of it and the art and I just decided, ‘Let me take my skills to the club,’” Little said.
She quickly found work at strip clubs, and the money she earned helped her finally get an apartment and leave the homeless shelter. While she was initially scared to try this new career, she quickly realized she loved it.
“It was kind of crazy because I was always really socially anxious. . . . I was so scared to put myself out there. But working at the club really forced me to open up and learn how to talk to people,” she explained.
Yet even though she did love getting to know people and yes, making money, she realized stripping didn’t offer the kind of financial stability she wanted.
“There’s no guarantee that you’re going to make any money. There’s no guarantee that you’re going to get any respect, that you get to have a good day. So I just kind of was like, ‘Well, I like performing, but I want to do it in an environment where it’s kind of regulated.’”
That’s when she decided to take what she’d learned in the club and dip her toes in the porn industry, thanks to an ex-boyfriend who took some photos that she was able to send to industry agents.
“The next day all of the agencies responded,” she recalled.
Six months into her porn career, Little decided to launch an OnlyFans page, which was “full sex, full nudity,” according to her account. She rapidly grew the account, and now makes around $200,000 a month on the platform alone. It helps that she has some big spenders who support her, including a man who tipped her $300,000 last year alone.
“He’s married. He works in finance . . . We talk every day all the time,” Little shared.
But she doesn’t just do OnlyFans. She also makes up to $2,000 for each appearance at an LA sex party, which she does at least once a month.
“A wide array of people join. It’s from celebrities to just regular people in the corporate world, girls like me who have a passion for performing. And there’s a lot of swingers,” she said.
“It’s more of a performance, highly curated with props and lights. It’s a show definitely.”
Little’s story is another example of how OnlyFans can be lifechanging for so many of its creators.
