‘Turrbotax Presents Jackmaster+Deadboy’

Count on Glaswegian label Numbers for garage-derived, bass-heavy intensity, but know that’s only part of their story. Jackmaster’s inspired sets rely on classic Detroit techno, Chicago house, early acid, and vintage soul as much as on the Brit genres du jour. When Deadboy isn’t making seductive and futuristic house, he divides his spare time between r&b spinning (as Tearjerker) and “Gameboy dancehall” (as part of Hyper Black Bass). With Numbers’ Nelson and residents Rem Koolhaus, Contakt, Space Jam, C-Sick, and Mayster.
