We love a truck that keeps its promises. Last week, Frites ‘N’ Meats, the burger-and-fries food truck that suffered an explosion three months ago, announced that it expected to be back up and running this week. Lo and behold, it is hitting the streets today. And what do New Yorkers get for so patiently awaiting its return?
According to its blog, you can get your frites gratuites at the following times and locations:
11-11:30 a.m. at 52nd Street and Sixth Avenue (Midtown West)
12:30-1 p.m. at 26th Street and Park Avenue (Flatiron)
2-2:30 p.m. at Water and Broad streets (FiDi)
3:30-4 p.m. at Hudson and King streets (Soho)
5-5:30 p.m. at Greenwich and Warren streets (Tribeca)
Times are approximate and places, well, they always depend on the parking gods. The full menu will be available for dinner at the final location. Welcome back!
