’23rd Annual New York Cabaret Convention’

Now that event founder and foremost ballyhooer Donald Smith has gone to operate the great cabaret convention in the sky, adored thrush K.T. Sullivan has taken earthly charge. Over three nights, she’ll present a list of performers as established as the great Barbara Carroll and as new as Shana Farr, the recipient of this year’s Julie Wilson award. Other relative newbies to catch up with include Lauren Fox and Gregory Generet. The ever-amusing Edward Hibbert is also announced to recall the rhyming Noel (Coward) and Cole (Porter).

Wed., Oct. 17, 6 p.m.; Thu., Oct. 18, 6 p.m.; Fri., Oct. 19, 6 p.m., 2012
