Sam Penix’s friendly Everyman Espresso has opened a new storefront in Soho, and it’s full of happy coffee nerds sipping on espresso drinks and cups of AeroPress- or Chemex-brewed coffee. Yesterday, I had a bright, sweet, super-creamy cortado ($3.75) and lounged on the sunny benches by the window.
