Poor Gregory Church. All he wants to do is end it all, and yet there are so many suicide notes he has to write (57 in total). Will he ever finish them? A hit at the 2009 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, melancholic British storyteller-comedian Daniel Kitson’s The Interminable Suicide of Gregory Church makes its long-awaited American premiere at St. Ann’s Warehouse. The show is part of the Under the Radar Festival, which features 19 new works from theatermakers around the world. The festival, playing at various venues starting January 5, includes Watch Me Work, in which the audience can observe a writing session of Pulitzer Prize–winning playwright Suzan-Lori Parks, and Dutch A/V, a new live-edited environmental film shot in Holland by comedian Reggie Watts and Tommy Smith. ‘The Interminable Suicide of Gregory Church’ opens January 6, through January 30, St. Ann’s Warehouse, 38 Water Street, Brooklyn, 866-811-4111, undertheradarfestival.com, $35–$45
