Good news everyone! This fall, The Village Voice will host the second annual Brooklyn Pour, a fantastic beer festival featuring more than 100 craft beers, plus entertainment and on-site demos from local brewmasters.
The event will be on Saturday, October 6 in Fort Greene at Skylight One Hanson. General admission will be $45, while VIP tickets will be $65 and include food and access to a private lounge. Because the event sold out so quickly last year, there will be two sessions this time around, one in the afternoon and a second in the evening.
Tickets go on sale August 22. (Pre-sale tickets will be available through Village Voice Daily Deal, with a limited number at 50 percent off). Proceeds will be going to BARC, the Williamsburg-based animal shelter.
