BIG SALAD

The fuzzy, funny singer-songwriter-guitarist Mac DeMarco has had a meaty year thanks to his recent LP, Salad Days. The spring release came out to mass acclaim, helping indie darling DeMarco set out on a busy, tour-heavy year that included a stop at our own 4Knots in July. Six months after the album came out, the kooky personality and wildly talented musician is still making the rounds and celebrating his well-deserved rise in recognition, but of course that’s all in between collaborating with Tyler the Creator, flashing some skin in friends’ music videos, and covering other people’s songs, like Angel Olsen’s “Lights Out.” Sounds like salad days are anything but lazy days.
