Basically, there are two areas that are going
after each other.
NATO wants to back them off.

What level of involvement should we have? To be honest with you, if I knew more about it,
I could say, but I don’t. It’s scary because I used to be a poli-sci major.

What other global hot spots trouble you most? None really. I’m pretty happy. I’m trying
to survive myself. You go to work, you
come home, there are the kids. Whatever’s going on out there, I can’t do anything
about it.

What do you think is going on in Kosovo? We’re just bombing more people again.

What level of involvement should we have? I don’t think
the U.S. has been justified in any of its
bombings for the past 25 years. We must
have more of a vested interest in Kosovo
than we did in Bosnia. What’s under there,
oil? A diamond mine?

What other global hot spots trouble you most? We should be more involved in Rwanda. No one gives a damn about ethnic cleansing
when there’s melanin involved.

What do you think is going on in Kosovo? We’re trying to stop Milosevic from human rights violations. But
I just got back from spring break, so I’m not too aware of what’s going on.

What level of involvement should we have? Right now we’re fine. If it gets much farther,
I don’t know if I’d suport sending in
ground troops.

What other global hot spots trouble you most? China. We can’t ignore their human
rights violations.

What do you think is going on in Kosovo? It appears that Milosevic is harassing innocent civilians. In addition, there might be some media skew to it.

What level of involvement should we have? Based on the spin that Clinton put on it,
we should be involved and I admire that
we haven’t put ground troops. Also, the U.S. has an ethical responsibility.

What other global hot spots trouble you most? As a religious Jew, I’d have to say the Middle East. I have a problem generally with the
fact that the whole peace process appears to
be a one-sided thing.

What do you think is going on in Kosovo? There’s a campaign
of genocide that
absolutely threatens human values. The
NATO response has been appropriate.

What level of involvement should we have?
It’s a tough one. Certainly we don’t want
to see American lives lost, especially in a
crisis that doesn’t directly affect us. Yet we
are a world leader.

What other global hot spots trouble you most? There is a manufactured area of conflict and that would be Cuba. Clinton needs to stand up for truth and lift the embargo.

and trying to prevent Milosevic from
ethnically cleansing the Albanians.

What level of involvement should we have?
I think we’re doing the right thing.

What other global hot spots trouble you most? I’m of Irish descent, so that’s a big concern.

Occupation: ArtistWhat do you think is going on in Kosovo? What I believe is really happening is under the surface. Most U.S. wars are about hidden issues, something economic.

What level of involvement should we have?
I’m a pacifist. I don’t think we should be
involved at all.

What other global hot spots trouble you most? When there was apartheid, South Africa. Also Honduras after the hurricane. It’s interesting: Cuba came to their aid before the U.S. did, and they’re a poor country.
