For most people, discovering world-class cuisine comes later in life. For Caroline Maggs, it started in middle school. Long before she became one of New York’s most recognizable luxury tastemakers, Maggs was a young teen dining at Caviar Russe, the iconic Michelin-starred restaurant on Madison Avenue known for its exceptional caviar program curated by Chef Edgar Panchernikov.
“I’ve been going to the restaurant with family and friends since I was in eighth grade,” Maggs says. “Around 13 or 14 years old. I’m 27 now. This place has been part of my life for as long as I can remember.”
What began as a childhood fascination has evolved into one of the most authentic, organic brand partnerships of the year. Caviar Russe, a family-owned institution with its own single-source farms in Germany, has selected Caroline as the first brand ambassador in the company’s history, a bold move for a legacy establishment that, until now, has never placed an external face at the forefront of its marketing.
And the collaboration couldn’t feel more natural.
Caviar Russe holds a singular place in the luxury dining world: a one-Michelin-star restaurant and boutique retailer with locations in New York and Miami, celebrated for its commitment to purity, sustainability, and craftsmanship. In a landscape where mass-produced caviar (particularly from China) has saturated the market, Caviar Russe stands as a rarity. Their approach is intimate, controlled, and deeply personal, ensuring quality that can only come from an operation that maintains ownership from farm to tin.
This is exactly what Caroline wants to educate her audience about.
“People don’t always understand where their caviar comes from,” she explains. “There’s a big difference between mass-produced caviar and the kind of single-source, responsibly farmed caviar Caviar Russe has built its reputation on. I want to help people learn the difference.”
With a rapidly growing online presence and a uniquely engaged audience, Maggs is poised to bring a new generation into the refined and often misunderstood world of caviar culture. Her content blends elegance, warmth, and approachability, making luxury feel both aspirational and attainable. The partnership will include behind-the-scenes content, culinary education, curated experiences, and exclusive collaborations that reflect the ethos of both Caroline and the Caviar Russe family.
For Maggs, this isn’t just a business deal. It’s a full-circle moment.
“As someone who has been infatuated with fine dining in New York City for a very long time, I am so excited to be Caviar Russe’s first brand ambassador,” she says. “This is a new format for them, as they have never had an external face be a part of their marketing before. I am excited to show everyone all the fun things we have been working on.”
In an era where influencer partnerships often feel transactional, Maggs and Caviar Russe offer something rare: a relationship built on history, respect, and genuine love for a craft.
Together, they are redefining what modern luxury storytelling can look like and bringing a fresh, elevated conversation about caviar to a global audience.
