COMICS UNBOUND

by

Now in its 10th year, MOCCA Fest is a comic convention explosively freed from kryptonite shackles, where the comics form itself is paramount, and any story can be told. Gary Panter (printmaking creator of the expressionist Jimbo and the upcoming Dal Tokyo) will receive MOCCA’s Klein Award; the guest of honor is fantasist P. Craig Russell, whose works include The Fairy Tales of Oscar Wilde and Sandman: Ramadan with Neil Gaiman. Expect comics of all styles, from lush, vibrant daydreams to unflinching autobiography—and such talents as Jason, Alex Robinson, Jessica Abel, and Leela Corman.
