A couple of years ago, Our Man Sietsema discovered the secret behind Crif Dogs’ limited edition weenies. Now, Metromix has dug up another interesting morsel about the East Village tube meat institution: it’s expanding to Williamsburg. At last weekend’s Taste of the Nation, PDT’s Jim Meehan told Metromix that Crif Dogs will be opening a new location right off of the L train on Bedford Avenue. It’s the first addition to the Crif Dogs family in nine years, and should open by fall. And if it does well, Meehan promises that “we will be everywhere.”
