Divine Horsemen: The Living Gods of Haiti

After inventing the idea of an American avant-garde filmmaker, Maya Deren used a Guggenheim grant to finance a trip to Haiti to document Voudon ritual. The movie was never completed but the posthumously assembled footage casts its own spell.
