Graphic designer Milton Glaser is as New Yorky as anyone could be: He famously designed the ubiquitous “I Love New York” logo, giving a boost to state tourism in the 1970s (and the Chinatown cheap T-shirt industry in the ’00s). Glaser also co-founded New York magazine with Clay Felker in 1968. In Glaser’s new book, In Search of the Miraculous, the artist handpicks his designs from the past five years to juxtapose various concepts in his body of work. Tonight, he’ll be on hand to discuss the volume and his celebrated career.
