Cathy Cervenka knows her power ballads. The self-proclaimed “ ’80s-obsessed” founder of Cathyland, a rock tribute collective, has produced such greatness as Madonnathon and an ode to U2. Tonight, Cervenka headlines her Classic Album Night by performing Pat Benatar’s definitive 1980 arena-rock album, Crimes of Passion. Then alt-rock group the Pretty Babies do Blondie’s 1978 hit record Parallel Lines. Lest that be too much girl power for one evening, New York’s Finest take on the Police’s 1978 Outlandos D’Amour, to remind everyone that “before the seven-hour yogic sex sessions and before he lived in a castle, Sting was once cool.”
