Reggie Watts is a comedian, beatboxer, singer, pedal-looper, and performance artist, more often than not at the same time. Instantly recognizable for his giant ’fro and renowned for his awkwardly commanding stage presence, the New York–based polymath, who has appeared in everything from the 2007 viral College Humor short “What About Blowjobs?” to LCD Soundsystem’s farewell documentary, Shut Up and Play the Hits, takes his live routine to midtown tonight. Predictably unpredictable, Watts’s performance will likely include the circular hit song “Having Sex” (“If you f*ckin’ then you probably havin’ sex”) and purposeful mix-ups (e.g., the famously neurotic filmmaker Woody Harrelson).
