ODE TO MOM

by

In the early ’90s, Chelsea Clinton was just a curly-haired preteen when her dad was on the presidential campaign trail. Today, the NBC news correspondent, along with Glamour editor Cindi Leive, moderates a panel on a topic Clinton knows well: Women in Politics. The panel includes Nicolle Wallace, President George W. Bush’s communications director and a top campaign adviser to Senator John McCain; Stephanie Schriock, president of Emily’s List, a national organization dedicated to electing pro-choice Democratic women to office; and Abby Huntsman Livingston, the daughter of former presidential candidate Jon Huntsman. Questions to be answered include “How do we get more women to vote?” and, of course, “How do we someday put a woman in the Oval Office?” Surely having the surname Clinton would help.
