It has also relied on high-profile sponsorships—like the one it has with Everton FC—to build a name for itself so that it can continue to grow in popularity.
The video shared on Bonnie Blue’s OnlyFans was part of one of her mass sex stunts and featured a Stake-sponsored Everton jersey. Now, Stake no longer holds a gambling license after a complaint was made to the Coalition to End Gambling Ads. Stake has faced regulatory scrutiny for some time in multiple countries, in no small part because of the ways in which it chooses to advertise. While the Stake logo being seen in pornographic content may not have been intentional, critics were still able to leverage the footage in their argument against Stake being legally permitted to have a gambling license in the UK.
Stake has agreed to give up its UK license and will cease all UK operations on March 11, 2025. This could also have negative fallout for companies and sports teams affiliated with Stake, but that doesn’t appear to have put off Everton FC. The Liverpool-based football club says that they will continue to have Stake as a sponsor, despite the negative press and the risk of repercussions for promoting an unlicensed gambling site.
Everton FC may be ready to stand their ground and put up a fight for their sponsor, but the person at the center of the controversy seems to have barely even noticed that the lives of others have been wildly disrupted as a result of her actions. Bonnie Blue has an established history of skirting consequences for her actions, and it appears that this incident is no different for the porn star than any other. If anything, this latest scandal almost appears to be a star in her crown. Blue relies on scandals that keep her name in the news in order to keep her subscriber count climbing.
