Aside from his muse Penélope Cruz, there’s one key ingredient that director Pedro Almodóvar has in all of his films—lots and lots of pasión! Some actresses ooze it, some definitely don’t. Inma Heredia, winner of the 2011 A.C.E. Award for Best Actress in a Musical by the Association Entertainment Critics of NYC, is one of those women who has more than she knows what to do with. So, fittingly, she stars in the one-woman show My Audition for Almodóvar. This musical follows the journey of the singing, flamenco-dancing actress as she goes from Spain to New York City in the hopes of meeting the one director who can make her a star.
