Portraits From A Holi Celebration In The Bronx

Holi, the Hindu spring festival of colors, was celebrated for the sixth year in the Bronx last weekend with music, debauchery, and powdered paint.

Derived from Holi, or Phagwa, which is traditionally commemorated by throwing colorful paint and powder at participants, this event brought together New Yorkers from across the spectrum, vendors, and DJs for a day of chromatic celebration.
