Tonight, His Purple Majesty ends an explosive four-concert reign at Madison Square Garden, which so far has included dancing with Sinbad, dueting with Cyndi Lauper, and serenading Gossip Girl‘s Leighton Meester, among other surprises. The only thing fans can expect for sure is a two-hour-or-so set of pop music’s biggest hits (so far he’s pulled out “Kiss,” “Purple Rain,” “Little Red Corvette,” and, surprisingly, “1999”) and two roller-skating twins. Be sure to check out the merch booth to see a $40 raspberry beret (the kind U find in a second-hand store).
