With each stride, the guitarist becomes a little clearer, a little more eloquent. His work with the Indo-Pak Coalition has been mesmerizing because his long tones give him a chance to mess with texture while still waxing lyrical. This new RAAQ foursome, which aligns him with Bill Ware’s vibraphone and finds him playing acoustic, should work a steady stream of pulses into the mix. They’re refining material for an upcoming studio session.
