Sorry haters (keep trying!), but no, a giant cartoon foot doesn’t appear out of nowhere and crush our new arena-rock overlords, who played Madison Square Garden again last night (Wednesday’s opening gig was wonderful), this time streamed on the web in its entirety, filmed by no less a personage than Terry Gilliam. Who did… fine. Nothing fancy, nothing wacky. The buffering was a bit of a problem if you watched it live, but otherwise, hey, great. May this bizarre indie-rocker/famous director trend continue… Zola Jesus has some ideas.
