Do you eat or starve when you’re stressed? When I have a stressful situation I eat as usual.

What do you do to handle stress? Contemplation.

What’s the most stressful situation you’ve been in? When I realized that my wife didn’t love me anymore. We had to get divorced. I was
really caught by surprise.

I tend to eat more.

What else do you do to handle stress? I walk a lot. After eating all the junk food, you walk it off.

What’s the most stressful situation you’ve been in? It was not getting something that I
wanted badly. It was something vocational. It could have changed my whole life. But I didn’t get it.

Do you eat or starve when you’re stressed? I eat.

What else do you do to handle stress? I work out, dance, walk, be with my friends.

Do you eat or starve when you’re stressed? I don’t go to either extreme.

What do you do to handle stress? I withdraw from everyone. I go to the movies— I’m in the dark and the screen is large so I can get lost in other people’s problems.

What’s the most stressful situation you’ve been in? I found out a friend of mine had AIDS.
He kept it a secret from me until the last three months of his life. I got counseling. It was something that I couldn’t keep inside.

Do you eat or starve when you’re stressed?
I don’t think food comes into play when I’m stressed out.

What do you do to handle stress? Like I’ll go drinking, hanging out with my friends.

What’s the most stressful situation you’ve been in? I guess learning that I was going to be a father. That was three years ago. It was the first time in my life I had no control over the outcome of something. I partied a lot, didn’t go to classes. But now, I love my kid.

Do you eat or starve when you’re stressed?
I totally starve.

What else do you do to handle stress? I used to smoke. Now that I don’t, I meditate, do breathing exercises, and I write a lot in my journal.

What’s the most stressful situation you’ve been in? My first year at film school, I was always on sets of movies, but I have a kid. So I didn’t know how to handle it. But I ended up bringing him to all the shoots, even to class.

Do you eat or starve when you’re stressed? Eating is really not a factor.

What do you do to handle stress? A steady diet of alcohol and
cigarettes and I’m back on top.

What’s the most stressful situation you’ve been in? Not knowing where I was going to school. I didn’t hear from schools and I got rejected time and time again. I cried a lot. But it all worked out in the end. I got in.

Do you eat or starve when you’re stressed? When I’m really stressed out? I tend to eat less.

What else do you do to handle stress? I try to take deep breaths, push that negative thought out of my head. Usually, I just draw.

What’s the most stressful situation you’ve been in? I’m going through it right now. I was
living with someone and they locked me out of the house, changed the lock. He holds the lease, so there’s nothing I can do. I’ve been living over at friends’ places.
