Last time I saw these London-based groovie ghoulies, they played a 20-minute headlining set before an audience of tattooed mosh-pit dudes. But that was several albums (and several hairdos) ago—these days, the Horrors do gauzy post-shoegaze pop that sounds like it should’ve played a big part in Donnie Darko. Tonight they kick off a U.S. tour that’ll wind its way west for California’s Coachella Festival.
