Tomorrow: My 13 Favorite Brooklyn Restaurants

The plum, lemon cucumber, and radish salad at Potlikker is indeed wonderful, but will it be enough to catapult the Williamsburg restaurant into my top 13?

Tomorrow we’re going to depart somewhat from our usual Friday 10 Best: I’m making a list (and checking it twice) of my current favorite 13 restaurants in the Borough of Kings.

The list is supposed to be casual and ephemeral, places I remember eating with great pleasure.

On the other hand, with 15,000 or so restaurants in Brooklyn, a list of this sort is capricious to say the least.

Still, the intention is more to have fun than be deadly serious, so I hope you’ll indulge me in this pursuit, and join us bright and early Friday morning to see the result.
