While he’s not quite rabid enough to make up for the loss of Jay Reatard, this San Fran shouter puts garage rock into overdrive enough to partially compensate. As fun as Ty’s recent albums have been, live is where you get to really experience him in all of his manic, bouncing, string-bending glory, not to mention enjoy his infectious humor.
