Grocery Store Shrimp Dumplings

OK, we’re not going to blame these dumplings on the grocery store that sells them, because it’s unclear whether they’re made in house or prepped elsewhere and then shipped to the shop.
That said, here are a couple of things worth knowing: The deep fried shells come out OK, but the filling just feels bizarre, like a liquefied fish ball — overly fishy without necessarily containing that much seafood.
