Whoever wins in November, Republican looks swept the Fashion Week runways
This didn't seem to dampen the spirits—or evoke bad memories—in most of the audience, which included J.Lo, Winona Ryder (her theft of MJ clothes only endeared her more to the designer), Donald Trump, and the tiny Olsen twins, who were around all week, clutching each other's hands and looking like a couple of scared white lab rats. The Jacobs show—pretty-pretty candy-colored taffeta party dresses and other girlish confections—ended with a startling popping noise and a shower of confetti. If this reminded anyone of the paper swirling in the wake of the towers, no one mentioned it.
