The polls have been closed for almost two hours, and the race in New York’s 20th Congressional District is too close to call. National Journal has “Murphy By 80 Votes…With 1 Precinct Remaining.” That makes the overseas balloting, extended till April 13, important. So will be the Republican impoundment of the ballots. Don’t wait up for this one. It’ll be days, at least.
Update 1:10 a.m.: CQ Politics says 155,000 votes were cast and Murphy is up by just 59 votes. Liz Benjamin says absentee totals — local, not overseas — are yet to be counted in three counties.
