Coming Apart

by

Dir. Milton Moses Ginsberg (1969).
A freaked-out shrink (Rip Torn) uses a hidden camera to film his sexual trysts. Milton Moses Ginsberg’s faux Warhol, would-be structuralist skin flick is more than a self-indulgent exercise and less than a misunderstood masterpiece. While it would be impossible to take this first feature as seriously as it takes itself, it would be foolish to deny the satisfaction this spectacle of smashed ambitions affords.
