This English electro-pop guy was in town last month as the opening act on Robyn and Kelis’s “All Hearts” tour, but Black’s well worth checking out on his own: His Internet pseudo-hit “HYPNTZ” makes crafty use of the beat from Rihanna’s “Umbrella” and the verses from Biggie’s “Hypnotize,” and his new single “Alone” percolates like prime Talking Heads.
