HAPPY CAMPERS

by

Picnic tables. Lawn chairs. Pop-up campers complete with crank-’em-out awnings. These are monuments to our great American summer, built up in a haste and enjoyed at leisure. They also happen to be the set of Third Rail Project’s Roadside Attraction, a nostalgic, site-specific work of dance theater. Bessie Award-winning choreographers Jennine Willett, Zach Morris, and Tom Pearson, present this interactive ode to the family vacation, set in, on, and around a vintage 1977 Coleman camper. Tonight you can revisit the ’70s and all its resultant kitsch at this outdoor performance while enjoying a complimentary dinner by Dinosaur BBQ with ice cream by Luca & Bosco for dessert. Stick around for the post-show dance party where DJ Alberto Denis spins classic hits of the decade.
