Fans of minimal emotional music, take heed! James Blake’s new album Overgrown is out next week. But before it does, you can cozy up to it at one of several early listening parties around town this week, the details of which are as follows…

7pm Wednesday: Turntable Lab, 120 East 7th Street
7pm Thursday: Barrique Wine Bar, 69 Deer Park Avenue (Babylon, NY, Long Island)
7pm Friday: Beloved, 674 Manhattan Avenue, Brooklyn
2pm Saturday: Other Music, 15 East 4th Street
5pm Saturday: Atrium, 233 Flatbush Avenue, Brooklyn

Blake won’t be in attendance, but there will be all sorts of other cool shit happening, including giveaways for a signed (and framed) lithograph, vinyl, and a whole boatload of posters, lithographs, and buttons. And hey, who doesn’t love a good button?
