Kneebody

This smart, tight, and curious slipstream quintet (sort of a new-music ensemble disguised as a pop band disguised as a jazz combo) begins their four-night stand with guest Wayne Krantz, a guitarist who’s no stranger to the dark corners and bright moments lurking between styles. Kneebody then explores their instrumental hip-hop dimension in the following two nights with the furiously funny L.A. rapper Busdriver and concludes their run with electronics experimentalist Daedelus.
