Three months ago this Bay Area rapper posted the video for “Gucci Gucci” on YouTube. Now Kreayshawn has signed to a major label, directed a clip for the Red Hot Chili Peppers and been nominated for an MTV Video Music Award. If she weren’t launching her first official tour in New York this week, I’d suspect there might not be a human beneath the Minnie Mouse headband. But then that’s probably the point, right?
