Ra Ra Riot

These upstate boys and girls include their own string section in the band, going one-up on Arcade Fire in some respects. After the tragic loss of their drummer and multiple label signings, they’re now bearing down on their third album, slated for sometime this summer. In the meantime, you can satisfy your hunger for some not-so-emo pleadings and tuneful, heart-on-the-sleeve indie pop here and now. In a better world, they’d have a fraction of the love swaddled on Grizzly Bear. With the Antlers.
