Soon, the Lines at Doughnut Plant May Not Be as Bad

Now that he’s opened his Chelsea Hotel storefront, Mark Israel is turning his attention back to his original Doughnut Plant location.

The Lo-Down reports that Israel is expanding his 379 Grand Street shop into a storefront next door that previously housed a frame shop. He’ll use the additional space for both baking and retail, which should help to diminish the almost perpetual lines that snake out onto the sidewalk during the weekends.
