THE CLUCKING DEAD

by

Things aren’t so good at the opening day of fast-food restaurant American Chicken Bunker. Built on the Tromahawk Tribe sacred burial grounds, the restaurant is under attack by a group of protesters spearheaded by the Collegiate Lesbians Against Mega-Conglomerations (CLAM), who want to end the senseless slaughtering of chickens. But that turns out to be the least of the restaurant’s worries when the zombie chickens show up. Tonight, see the outrageously disgusting 2007 horror comedy that PETA ranked first on their list of “Top 10 Movies That Make You Go Meatless” when gross-out director Lloyd Kaufman’s Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead screens at Anthology Film Archives. Kaufman himself will be there in person for a Q&A with director John Goras, whose animated short Chirpy will be screened as well. Plus, lots of giveaways promised!
