This weekend is packed with parades. Sunday, it’s the Phagwah (the indo-caribbean celebration of Holi, the Hindu new year) parade in Queens. Wear old clothes – throwing dye and colored powder is part of the party.
There are also St. Patrick’s Day parades in Hoboken and Rockaway Beach Saturday, and in Woodside (the St Pat’s for All parade) and on Staten Island Sunday.
