Dreaming of backflips
Anne Burrell’s been busy lately. She has a new Food Network show, Secrets of a Restaurant Chef, cooks at Centro Vinoteca every night, and has just been named a Rising Star Chef by Star Chefs magazine.
We caught up with Burrell to ask her our signature, Bawbawa Walters-style, Four Questions not About Food.
What was the last book you read? Did you like it?
Julie and Julia by Julie Powell. Yes! As a kid, I used to watch Julia on TV. Julie’s stories of cooking in a small apartment kitchen cracked me up.
What animal would you like to be reincarnated as, and why?
A cat. All I’d have to do is eat, sleep and play.

What did you dream about last night?
That I was on the US women’s gymnastics Olympic team.
