Although the script bursts with everything you would expect from a mainstream spy thriller, The Gray Man might better be tilted, Mission Impossible: Rote Nation. Reviewer Asher Luberto notes that even stars like Ryan Gosling, playing a black-ops secret agent who tracks criminals across the globe, and Chris Evans, who sports a porn ’stache and stylish duds, can’t juice the project beyond the wan thrills of speed drone cinematography and overstuffed action sequences.
