just woke up one
day and decided to do it.

first of all the betrayal. Mary Jo, she’s got a
better heart than most people.

What was the most serious thing you ever forgave? Infidelity. I was married one time.
I forgave the person. I felt after a while being angry would tear me down. But it didn’t
work out. Forgetting is something else.

something to do with
it. He put it in her mind.

Would you forgive someone who slept with your spouse and tried to kill you? Definitely not. That’s a dumb question. I think Mary
Jo feels that maybe her husband did have something to do with it so she forgave her.

What was the most serious thing you ever forgave? Not paying me back $800. Money’s not a reason to lose a friendship. I’ll make more tomorrow.

may have put the thought in her mind but he did it without saying anything.

not a forgiving person like that! Mary Jo
has some ulterior motive. Maybe some kind

What was the most serious thing you ever forgave? Neighbor across the street ran into my car. He was just a kid, they paid for it,
but that was serious. I forgave them, they’re my neighbors.

Would you forgive someone who slept with your spouse and tried to kill you? No. I could forgive my husband, maybe, but that person who sleeps with him knows he’s married. I was very surprised when Mary Jo did that.

What was the most serious thing you ever forgave? A friend who wasn’t there for me when I really needed her. But she’s been my best friend since I was three. Life’s too short.

was very young. I was that age at the time.
I don’t think she got those ideas by herself.

Would you forgive someone who slept with your spouse and tried to kill you? Maybe the slept-with part, but the murder thing? No.

What was the most serious thing you ever forgave? My brother changed religions. He went from Catholic to Jehovah’s Witness.
My mother hasn’t forgiven him.

allowed it to happen.

Would you forgive someone who slept with your spouse and tried to kill you? No. It’s unimaginable for me. I can understand that Mary Jo feels sorry for Amy, but to publicly forgive? She’s a better person than I am.

What was the most serious thing you ever forgave? I forgave my brother for breaking
my arm. We were just kids but he was pretty mean to me.

It was her thing. She was jealous.

Would you forgive someone who slept with your spouse and tried to kill you? Absolutely not. I don’t think Mary Jo has much common sense. It goes against my moral grain.

What was the most serious thing you ever forgave? For being disloyal, a friend. I liked him too much to not forgive him.
