A traditional Easter meal might include lamb, spring vegetables, glazed ham, and hard-boiled eggs. Celebrate the holiday by dining out for brunch or dinner with one of these set menus, all of which will satisfy seasonal cravings.
DBGB
Daniel Boulud’s downtown eatery will serve its usual brunch menu, but will add a hearty leg of lamb with a vadouvan (a French-Indian blend of spices) crust. Other festive additions include roasted carrots, chicory salad, and a rhubarb tart. A set menu with these dishes will be $27 a person. 299 Bowery, 212-933-5300
Rosemary’s
Enjoy a three-course brunch at Rosemary’s, where most of the vegetables and herbs are grown on the rooftop garden. Here the holiday calls for a bread and muffin basket, lamb-sausage ragu with a soft poached egg and homemade pappardelle, porchetta with apple mostarda and salsa verde, and traditional Italian Easter cookies for $30 a person. Make a reservation online and make sure to stop by the rooftop on your way out; guests are welcome to paint their own eggs. 18 Greenwich Ave, 212-647-1818
Clarkson
Newly opened Clarkson on Varick Street will offer a holiday dinner menu for $45. Chef Rebecca Weitzman hasn’t completely set the dishes just yet, but pan-roasted frog legs, a whole spring lamb, and house-smoked pork loin are sure to be on the table. Reserve a table online or by phone. 225 Varick St., 347-663-6005
