Kaitlyn Siragusa, known as “Amouranth” on her many social media accounts, was robbed at gunpoint and violently assaulted in her home recently. The popular online gaming streamer and adult OnlyFans creator lives in Houston, Texas and boasts millions of followers on KICK, Twitch, OnlyFans, and several other online platforms. Siragusa recently shared her crypto earnings on those social media accounts, revealing she has more than $20 million available to her.
Not the wisest move, as someone decided they wanted that crypto for themselves.
Three robbers allegedly broke into her Houston home around 11pm CT on Saturday, March 2, finding Siragusa in bed. They dragged her out of bed, demanding she give them access to her millions in crypto. But crypto isn’t like having cash hidden in a safe. And when the robbers weren’t able to get into her account, they pistol whipped the online influencer.
Siragusa’s husband was also home but was not in bed with her at the time. Police revealed the husband grabbed a pistol and fired shots at the robbers. They believe one was shot, as there was a trail of blood left behind as the robbers ran off.
The gaming streamer was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, though she was able to post on X (formerly known as Twitter) throughout the experience. Once it was over, she shared a video of the robbery on her X account, writing, “They beat me before this video and pistol-whipped me. The pummeling felt like it would never end, and I protected my head by putting my arms up like I learned how to do in boxing. Blood was streaming down my head, and my hands were beat brown. They brought duct tape and masks and were armed with handguns.”
Siragusa was released from the hospital and the Houston Police Department have posted on their own social accounts asking for anyone with information to contact them.
Siragusa isn’t the first OnlyFans creator to face a home invasion. A SWAT team and the Coast Guard were dispatched to OnlyFans model Sophie Rain’s rented house in Ft. Lauderdale after the Super Bowl. Rain had returned home from her trip to New Orleans to discover a broken window, a blaring alarm and a strange man waiting for her. The twenty-year-old content creator wasn’t alone, as she was sharing the house with other members of her digital collective, they call the “Bop House.”
All together the women have more than 33 million followers, and they aren’t exactly secretive about where they live. While the Ft. Lauderdale home was a temporary situation, they typically reside in a luxury mansion in Miami. But it was the Ft. Lauderdale residence that Rain’s stalker chose to break into. The man claimed to be the new owner of the house, but the girls were suspicious and called the police.
Unlike Siragusa’s experience, Rain’s situation ended without bloodshed. The stalker was arrested without incident after hours of back and forth with the law enforcement officers on the scene.
Siragusa is waiting for her would-be robbers to face the same fate.
