With a name like Girthmasterr (don’t worry, his parents didn’t name him that; his real name
Ben), you would think you could guess the kinds of subscribers he has — but you would probably be wrong.
Girthmasterr is an OnlyFans star with loads of subscribers, nearly 200,000 followers on TikTok, and a plan to keep growing his fanbase. At only 18 years old, he joined the adult entertainment industry. Even before he was legally allowed to, he’d been sharing X-rated photos and videos on websites like Reddit and Tumblr. But after his ex-girlfriend suggested he try to monetize his content, he gave it a try.
Now he’s making nearly $100,000 a month and becoming recognized around the world. In a recent interview, he revealed that most people are “generally respectful” when they recognize him and realize who he is.
“People are generally respectful, and because I do porn, no one’s going to shout ‘Girthmasterr’ in the street when they’re sober. If I go out, nightlife is a different story. People come up to me all the time when they’re drunk. But yeah, I just have to assume that at least one person’s going to recognise me every time I leave the house, which is fine. People are nice,” he revealed in an interview.
“They just usually give me a little head nod or something. But it also happened in West Hollywood. A lot of people. Someone stopped their car in traffic to shout my name.”
As a straight porn performer, he typically films solo or with women. That would lead most people to assume that most of his subscribers are women or gay men.
“Yep, the gays love me too. Some gay men will message me to say that I’m the only straight person they’ll watch, they’ll still watch my straight porn just for me, even though they have no interest in anybody else,” he explained.
But while gay men do make up a portion of his OnlyFans subscriber base, Girthmasterr estimates that only 15 percent identify as gay. Though he does admit “I think there’s some flexibility there” in terms of sexual orientation. He revealed that the “majority” of his fan base are men, which would mean that 85% of those men are straight.
And Girthmasterr vows to work hard (pun intended) to give the people what they want. Really hard, in fact. He claims to work around 80 hours a week, though admittedly much of that time is rather enjoyable.
“So I probably shoot a couple times a week,” he explained. “Like edit the videos, spend a lot of time marketing. I’d say I spend 60 to 80 hours a week working. I went full-time a year ago, so it’s been a pretty big year. Like, I travel to the States a few times to shoot content with some big names. It’s been really fun.”
And he plans to keep things fun, which is all anyone could ask for.
