Rodelio Agilbot to Create Asian Ventures With BLT Restaurant Group


Less than a month after Laurent Tourondel announced his departure from the BLT Restaurant Group, the company has announced that it will be joining forces with Chef Rodelio Aglibot to develop a number of Asian concepts, including a grill and gastropub that will pair Agilbot’s “innovative, rustic Asian food with a stellar beverage program.” The Filipino American chef opened Koi in Los Angeles, and is the executive chef at Chicago’s Sunda. There’s no word yet on which of the new concepts will make their way to New York; according to a BLT spokesperson, locations have not yet been secured.
