Both Sweet Chick locations will expand their fried chicken and waffles menus in honor of National Fried Chicken Day. The special menu includes fried chicken flavors like hot honey, badass curry, and peach Sriracha for $18 each.

Rejoice sci-fi fans! Syndicated is kicking off its brand-new series of TV screenings with the cult hit Firefly. Fans can chow down on a $33 prix fixe menu during the 86-minute series premiere, “Serenity.” Dishes include a choice of grilled mojo skewers, grilled calamari, a half chicken, a fried green tomato sandwich, and more. Top off the meal with carnival donuts with strawberry compote, an ice cream sandwich, or blueberry cobbler.

Brooklyn Lobster Fest Series
