5 Boro Pizza Challenge
Washington Square Park Arch
Saturday, 11 a.m.
Try your hand at competitive eating in this cross-borough pizza crawl. The tagline says it all: “Five boroughs. Five slices. One day. Zero cars.” Pizza lovers will Instagram each slice (and tag #5boropizzachallenge, naturally), and the winner will be declared at the Greenwich Village after-party. All the participating pizza places will be unveiled the day of the event, and prizes will be given to both the fastest pizza-eating individual as well as team. It’s $25 to participate, but guests will still need to pay for each slice and public transit to each location, unless they’re biking or walking. (The event is a fundraiser for Transportation Alternatives, so cars/taxis/Ubers/Lyfts are off-limits.) Reserve your spot here.

A registered dietitian and mixologist will lead “What the Health Should I Eat,” an in-depth workshop that will focus on tequila cocktails and freshly grown ingredients. The event ($25 per person) includes a tour and tasting, as well as admission to the garden for the day. Reserve your spot here.
