More athletes are turning to OnlyFans to fund their careers, and Falyn Fonoimoana is the latest to join the subscription-based platform. The 32-year-old professional volleyball player announced last month that she is officially an OnlyFans athlete, joining the likes of Olympic medalists like Jack Laugher and other professional volley ball players like Hagen Smith.
The post read: “I am so excited to announce that I am an @onlyfans athlete! I am so grateful for this opportunity and huge shoutout to my team for all the behind the scenes to make this happen.

The 6’4 athlete went on to share slightly more risque photos to her Instagram feed than she had before the announcement, and her fans seem to be enjoying it. Though it’s not clear how spicy she’s taking things behind the paywall. Some athletes, like Australian diver Matthew Mitcham who turned to OnlyFans when he was unable to secure any traditional sponsorships take it all off for semi-frontal nudes.
Mitcham recently shared more about his experience on OnlyFans in a recent podcast, stating: “I spent 20 something years investing in my body so why not try and get some dividends out of that? It just makes complete sense, only going as far as obviously I’m comfortable with and not crossing any of my own boundaries.”
He continued: “But the other issue is that because it is so stigmatized, it’s hard to reconcile with having a mainstream career in television or radio, like who wants to have a TV presenter who’s also a porn star? I have found it to be an interesting line to walk where what I share on OnlyFans is not considered porn, so I try and keep it more artistic rather than pornographic.”
Meanwhile other athletes like British swimmer Jack Laugher keep things strictly SFW (safe for work). He joined the platform to keep afloat as he trained for the 2024 Paris Olympics where he won Bronze. And the swimmer believes he would not have been able to do that without the $10 a month supporters who funded his training, adding: “For me, it’s been an absolute lifeline.”
Many Olympians now rely on the platform to continue their training when they are unable to find funding elsewhere. Athletes like New Zealand rower Robbie Manson, Canadian pole vaulter Alysha Newman, and divers Timo Barthel and Diego Belleza Isaias have all created accounts leading up to their Olympic runs.
OnlyFans even has a sports section on their blog, where you can keep up with how the athletes on the platform are doing in their respective sports. From Tennis pros like Sachia Vick to UFC fighters like Ketlen Vieira, you can find something that interests you in the athletes on OnlyFans these days.
